Driver's Point of Delivery Signature Capture
Today we introduce a new product available with your AutoPower system that simplifies your parts delivery management. This product adds efficiency to the order delivery process and documents the delivery with customer signature technology.
The latest in PDA technology is now available for distributors and retailers to simplify and enhance their parts delivery management. Using a PDA for tracking deliveries and capturing the customer's signature gives you control over a very important customer service function of your business.
With each of your delivery drivers carrying a Symbol SPT 1550 PDA, at the point of delivery they will scan each delivery ticket to record the sales order number, the date and time of day. Then the customer will place their signature on the PDA's screen - which is stored along with the order delivery data. Upon return to the store, the delivery data is downloaded to the server and updated to the Driver Delivery database for later analysis by customer or by driver. The digitally captured signatures are stored with each of the invoices and will print on the invoice document.
This PDA technology and delivery tracking software helps to better manage driver routing and parts delivery ultimately improving the accuracy of your customer delivery service.
